Design
The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) Titanium is an extremely rugged premium smartwatch, designed to withstand the most challenging to brave outdoor conditions. The casing has a striking and recognizable 'cushion design' (square base with a round bezel), made entirely of high-quality Grade 4 titanium for an optimal balance between low weight and extreme structural hardness. The watch is certified to strict military MIL-STD-810H standards, functions in extreme temperatures from -20°C to 55°C, and offers superior 10 ATM (IP68) water resistance for intensive water sports. On the side is the physical, orange 'Quick Button' with which sports can be started, stopped or switched directly.
Screen
The watch is equipped with a clear and fully round 1.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x 480 pixels. The panel is specifically optimized for outdoor use and reaches an impressive maximum peak brightness of up to 3000 nits, ensuring that all running or navigation data remains perfectly readable under direct and bright sunlight. The display is effectively protected against scratches and hard impacts by a top layer of premium scratch-resistant Sapphire Crystal glass. An integrated night mode automatically switches the interface to a soothing red filter screen in minimal ambient lighting to prevent glare.
Performance
Under the hood is Samsung's advanced Exynos W1000 processor, built on a highly efficient 3nm process with a penta-core architecture. In combination with 2GB RAM, this chipset delivers lightning-fast and smooth animations within the interface. A major upgrade for this 2025 model is the doubling of internal storage capacity to a generous 64GB, providing significantly more space for offline music playlists and detailed GPX route files. The positioning works via a high-precision Dual-Frequency GPS (L1+L5) that ensures reliable tracking, even between dense high-rise buildings or in deep forest areas.
Battery
The built-in 590 mAh lithium-ion battery delivers impressive endurance that is specially tailored to endurance sports and multi-day expeditions. Thanks to the energy-efficient 3nm processor, the battery lasts up to 100 hours when the regular Power Saving mode is active. For active athletes, the dedicated 'Exercise Power Saving' mode provides up to 48 hours of continuous performance and GPS tracking, which is more than enough to complete full triathlons or ultramarathons without recharging. Charging is smooth via the included magnetic fast charger.
Software and Connectivity
The watch runs Wear OS 6 with Samsung's proprietary One UI 8 Watch interface, which is deeply integrated with advanced Galaxy AI health features. The updated BioActive Sensor accurately measures your heart rate, ECG, blood pressure and body composition (BIA), while artificial intelligence calculates a personalized 'Energy Score' daily based on your sleep quality and activity level. Thanks to the built-in 4G LTE support via eSIM, the watch can make phone calls and receive messages completely independently without a phone nearby. In addition, the device supports contactless payments via NFC and has a powerful emergency siren for extra safety during outdoor adventures.
