Description
Product Description
The Apple iPhone 6s features a luxurious metal design and is beautifully finished on all sides. Apple’s proprietary operating system, iOS, is easy to use and works virtually the same across all Apple devices; in addition, all Apple products sync easily with one another, and files stored in your iCloud can be accessed anywhere.
3D Touch
New to the Apple iPhone 6s, compared to previous iPhone models, is 3D Touch. With this feature, Apple creates a sort of right-click function for your iPhone 6s. When you tap an icon normally, the same thing happens as on earlier versions of the iPhone; however, when you press a bit harder on an icon, additional options appear. These options make it easier for you to use your iPhone 6s and, for example, switch between apps.
Design
The design of the Apple iPhone 6s isn’t much different from that of the Apple iPhone 6. However, the metal casing of the Apple iPhone 6s is stronger, making the Apple iPhone 6s a few tenths of a millimeter larger than the Apple iPhone 6. The glass on the iPhone 6s is also stronger and therefore more scratch-resistant, though this makes the Apple iPhone 6s 14 grams heavier.
Camera
Apple’s iPhones are known for the high quality of the photos you can take with them. This wasn’t immediately apparent from the number of megapixels; Apple focuses more on the lens and the software, which also have a major impact on the photos you take. However, both cameras on the Apple iPhone 6s have been upgraded. The rear camera now has 12 megapixels instead of the 8 on the Apple iPhone 6. The front camera has gone from 1.2 megapixels on the Apple iPhone 6 to 5 megapixels on the Apple iPhone 6s.
This increase in megapixels is especially noticeable when you zoom in on a photo or show your photos to family and friends on a larger screen. In addition, with the improved 12-megapixel camera, you can now also record videos in Ultra HD quality.
An additional feature on the Apple iPhone 6s allows you to use the screen as a flash when taking a selfie.
