Design
The Apple iPhone 16 combines a sleek, aerospace-grade aluminum frame with a solid-body back colored glass. The device weighs 170 grams and has a thickness of 7.8 mm. An important physical innovation is the addition of the multifunctional Action button (known from the previous Pro models) and the brand new haptic Camera control (Camera Control) button on the side. This allows you to immediately open the camera, focus, zoom and adjust settings with light pressure and swipe movements. The housing has an IP68 resistance rating (waterproof up to 6 meters for 30 minutes).
Display
The 6.1-inch Super Retina HDR10 and Dolby Vision and achieves a peak brightness of no less than 2000 nits in bright outdoor light, while it can dim down to 1 nit in the dark. Performance
The heart of the device is the Apple A18 chip specially developed for this model, produced using an advanced 3-nanometer process. This SoC is equipped with a 6-core CPU and a 5-core GPU that supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing for console sound gaming. Thanks to the 16-core Neural Engine and 8GB RAM, the system is fully optimized for processing Apple Intelligencefunctions directly on the device.
Battery and Charging
The internal 3561 mAh lithium-ion battery is more efficient than ever and delivers a significant improvement in battery life compared to previous generations. The iPhone 16 supports fast charging via the USB-C port (up to 50% charge in approximately 30 minutes with a 20W adapter or higher). In addition, MagSafe wireless charging has been upgraded to a maximum speed of 25W (when using an optional 30W power adapter).
