Design
The iPhone 15 Plus has a refined design with an aluminum frame and a matte glass back, ensuring a light yet solid build quality. The rounded edges make the device comfortable to use, despite the larger size. Available in soft colors such as light blue, pink, yellow, green and black. Just like with the regular iPhone 15, the Dynamic Island has also been added here for smart and interactive notifications. The IP68 certification provides protection against dust and immersion in water up to 6 meters deep for 30 minutes.
Display
The large 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display delivers an immersive viewing experience with sharp details, deep contrasts and rich colors. With a resolution of 2796 x 1290 pixels and support for HDR10 and Dolby Vision, the screen is ideal for watching movies, photos and creative content. The maximum brightness of 2000 nits makes the screen easy to read in bright sunlight. Although the display has a 60Hz refresh rate, the overall visual experience remains smooth.
Performance
The iPhone 15 Plus is powered by the powerful Apple A16 Bionic chip, which delivers excellent performance in speed, efficiency and graphics power. The chip makes multitasking, gaming, video editing and AI tasks smooth and responsive. The 5-core GPU and 16-core Neural Engine ensure fast image processing and smart features such as improved photography, speech recognition and live translation.
Battery
With a 4383 mAh battery, the iPhone 15 Plus offers an impressive battery life – up to more than a day of intensive use without charging. Charging is done via 20W fast charging (about 50% in 30 minutes), MagSafe wireless charging up to 15W, and Qi charging up to 7.5W. Thanks to iOS 17 and the efficient A16 chip, energy consumption is optimized.
Software and Connectivity
The iPhone 15 Plus runs on iOS 17 and benefits from years of software updates. The device supports 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC for Apple Pay and Ultra Wideband (UWB). A major innovation is the switch from Lightning to USB-C, which ensures broader compatibility and easier connection to other devices. The 48 MP main camera uses the Photonic Engine for impressive photos with lots of detail, even in low light. With the ultra-wide-angle lens and functions such as Night mode, Portrait mode and 4K video recording, the device is very versatile. The 128GB storage space offers ample space for media, files and professional apps.
