Design
The iPhone 15 Pro Max features an advanced design that uses lightweight yet strong grade 5 titanium for the frame. This makes the device lighter than its predecessor, without sacrificing strength. The rounded edges, matte back and narrow screen edges provide an elegant and comfortable user experience. New is the Action button instead of the classic mute button, with which you can set shortcuts yourself, such as camera, silent mode or a focus profile. The device is IP68 certified and resistant to dust and water (up to 6 meters deep for 30 minutes).
Screen
The 6.7-inch Super Retina ProMotion technology ensures an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz, resulting in ultra-smooth animations and interactions. The Always-On Display feature shows important information such as time and widgets without fully waking the screen. Dolby Vision and HDR10 provide vivid images and deep contrasts, ideal for film and photo editing.
Performance
With the Apple A17 Pro chip, Apple introduces a new generation of performance. This chip, built on a 3nm process, not only offers faster speeds and better energy efficiency, but also advanced graphics performance, including support for hardware ray tracing. This allows even console-worthy games to run smoothly. The powerful CPU, improved GPU and Neural Engine make the device suitable for intensive apps, AI tasks, video editing and augmented reality.
Battery
The 4422 mAh battery of the iPhone 15 Pro Max offers exceptional battery life, easily enough for an entire day of intensive use. Fast charging via USB-C up to 20W (approximately 50% in 30 minutes) is supported, as is wireless charging via MagSafe (15W) and Qi (7.5W). Thanks to the energy-efficient A17 Pro chip and optimizations in iOS 17, battery life is further improved.
Software and Connectivity
The iPhone 15 Pro Max runs on iOS 17 and benefits from long-term software and security updates. The device supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC for Apple Pay, Ultra Wideband (UWB) and has a USB-C 3.0 port with data transfer up to 10 Gbps. The advanced camera setup consists of a 48 MP main camera with multiple focal options, a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12 MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom – exclusive to the Pro Max model. Thanks to ProRAW, ProRes 4K video, Smart HDR 5 and the Photonic Engine, this iPhone is particularly suitable for professional photography and video production. With 256GB storage you have ample capacity for high-resolution content and demanding apps.
