Design
The Apple AirPods 2 (model MV7N2ZM/A) have the signature sleek, white in-ear design with a universal fit without silicone ear tips. Each earbud measures 16.5 x 18,0 x 40,5 mm and weighs 4 grams. The included charging case measures 44,3 x 21,3 x 53,5 mm and weighs 38 grams. The earphones have dual optical sensors and motion-detecting accelerometers to recognize when they are in the ear, as well as a speech-detecting accelerometer that filters out background noise during phone calls.

No screen present. The charging case contains a small LED indicator light on the inside of the case that shows battery and pairing status.
Performance
Powered by the specially developed Apple H1 chip, which ensures a faster and more stable wireless connection to devices, lower audio latency when playing games and up to 1.5 times faster connection time when making phone calls. The H1 chip also enables hands-free activation of Siri via the voice command "Hey Siri". Control of the audio and phone calls is via double taps on the earphone housing.
Battery and Ports
The AirPods provide up to 5 hours of listening time or up to 3 hours of talk time on a single charge. With multiple additional charges via the standard wired charging case, total listening time increases to over 24 hours and talk time up to 18 hours. Charged within 15 minutes in the case, the system delivers up to 3 hours of listening time or 2 hours of talk time. The charging case charges via a physical Lightning port on the bottom. Wireless connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.0 for pairing with iOS, macOS, watchOS and Android devices.
