Design
The Garmin Fenix 6S Pro is designed with a compact 42mm fiber-reinforced polymer housing and a stainless steel ring, which makes the watch both light and robust. The back is made of metal for better signal conduction and durability. The model can withstand harsh conditions, meets military MIL-STD-810 standards and is water resistant to 10 ATM.
Display
The always-on 1.2-inch transflective MIP display ensures excellent readability in bright sunlight. Thanks to the resolution of 240 x 240 pixels, the display of maps, data fields and notifications is clear and sharp. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, with a sapphire glass on the Sapphire edition for extra scratch resistance.
Performance
The Fenix 6S Pro offers extensive tracking capabilities with support for multiple GNSS systems (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo), wrist-based heart rate monitoring, Pulse Ox measurement, and VO2 Max calculation. The advanced training features, including dynamic running data, performance fitness, recovery time advice and custom power management profiles, make this watch suitable for serious athletes.
Battery
The battery provides up to 9 days in smartwatch mode, 25 hours in GPS mode, and approximately 6 hours when using GPS and music simultaneously. In battery saving mode, the watch can function for up to 34 days. Power Manager lets users extend battery life by selectively turning sensors and features on or off.
Software and Connectivity
The Fenix 6S Pro runs on Garmin's own operating system and supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and ANT+. The watch offers music storage of up to 2,000 songs, Spotify and Deezer integration, and Garmin Pay for contactless payments. Extensive analyzes and synchronization with other platforms are possible via Garmin Connect. Connect IQ provides access to customizable watch faces, apps and widgets.
