Design
The Garmin Instinct 2X Solar has a rugged, military-grade housing made of fiber-reinforced polymer. The watch is resistant to extreme temperatures, shock and water up to 10 ATM. The design is large, sturdy and very durable, specially made for outdoor and intensive sports activities.
Screen
The 1.4-inch MIP display always remains easy to read, even in bright sunlight. The Power Glass solar lens allows the watch to absorb additional energy in daylight, significantly extending the overall battery life.
Performance
The Instinct 2X Solar delivers excellent performance for sports and outdoor use. With multi-GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo), heart rate monitoring, Pulse Ox, altimeter, compass and advanced tracking, the watch is suitable for both daily activities and tough adventures.
Battery
Solar energy allows the watch to last extremely long. In smartwatch mode, the battery can last up to weeks with sufficient sunlight, while GPS use is also greatly extended thanks to the Power Glass technology.
Software and Connectivity
The watch runs on Garmin's own system, with support for smart notifications, ANT+ and Bluetooth. Through Garmin Connect, users can analyze activities, track training plans and view health information. The watch also offers TracBack navigation and a wide range of sports profiles.
