Design
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE features the iconic Contour Cut camera design that blends smoothly into the aluminum frame. The back is made of durable polycarbonate with a matte finish. The device measures 155.7 x 74.5 x 7.9 mm and weighs 177 grams. The housing has an IP68 certification for dust and water resistance (immersion up to 1.5 meters deep for 30 minutes) and is equipped with an optical fingerprint scanner under the screen.
Screen
The 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display offers sharp images and vivid colors with a Full HD+ resolution. With a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, the screen responds extremely quickly and smoothly to touch commands. The maximum brightness of 1200 nits guarantees good readability outdoors in direct sunlight.
Performance
Powered by the Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100 processor on a 5nm process, combined with 6GB or 8GB of RAM. This setup delivers fast performance for demanding applications, gaming and multitasking. The internal storage is 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1. The storage capacity cannot be expanded with a microSD card.
Battery and Ports
The device houses a 4500 mAh lithium-ion battery. Charging is via the USB Type-C port with support for 25W wired fast charging (50% charge in about 30 minutes), 15W wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare for reverse wireless charging of accessories. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, 5G, NFC and stereo speakers.
