Design
The Samsung Galaxy Buds4 (SM-R540) feature a sleek, minimalist open-ear design (without silicone eartips) based on the ergonomic stem design (Blade Design). The design is optimized for a comfortable and stable fit during extended daily use. Each earbud weighs approximately 4.7 grams and has an IP57 certification for high-quality dust and water resistance. The charging case has a transparent lid and a compact housing. Control is via intuitive pinch and swipe sensors on the stems for volume control and media control.

Performance
Powered by Samsung's latest generation audio processor and equipped with an updated dynamic driver for clear treble and full bass response. Despite the open-ear design, the Buds4 offer Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Adaptive Sound Control that intelligently mutes ambient noise. The system supports 24-bit Hi-Fi audio via the Samsung Seamless Codec, 360 Audio with head tracking and integrated Galaxy AI features such as live voice translation (Interpreter mode) and smart speech detection for calls.
Battery and Ports
The earphones provide up to 5 hours of listening time on a single charge with ANC on (up to 6 hours with ANC off). When combined with the charging case, total listening time is up to 24 hours (up to 30 hours without ANC). Charging of the case is wired via the USB-C port. on the bottom or wirelessly via Qi-certified chargers and Wireless PowerShare on compatible Galaxy smartphones. Wireless connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.4 with support for Auracast, Auto Switch and Fast Pair.
