Design
The Galaxy S24 Plus has a premium design with a flat glass front and back made of Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and an Armor Aluminum frame. The straight screen edges and rounded corners give the device a modern and minimalist look. The individual camera lenses protrude slightly from the housing without a traditional camera island, which provides a sleek and recognizable look. The device is IP68 certified and resistant to water and dust.
Screen
The 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen is one of the best in its class, with a sharp QHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Thanks to a peak brightness of up to 2600 nits, the screen is easily readable in direct sunlight. The support for HDR10+ ensures rich color reproduction and strong contrast when watching videos or playing games.
Performance
The Exynos 2400 chipset in the European version of the S24 Plus offers powerful performance with its deca-core architecture and advanced Xclipse 940 GPU based on AMD RDNA 3 technology. Combined with 12GB RAM, the device delivers effortless multitasking, lightning-fast app launch times and smooth performance for graphics-intensive tasks such as gaming and video editing.
Battery
The 4900 mAh battery ensures long-lasting use, even during intensive daily use. Thanks to 45W fast charging, the device is fully charged in about an hour. 15W wireless charging is also supported, as well as Wireless PowerShare for wireless charging of other devices.
Software and Connectivity
The Galaxy S24 Plus runs on Android 14 with Samsung's One UI 6.1. Samsung offers up to seven years of Android and security updates. In terms of connectivity, the device supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC and USB-C. Dual SIM and eSIM functionality are available depending on the model variant.
